Bethany Ann Welsh and Scott Christopher South, both of Lemoore, Calif., exchanged marriage vows Dec. 19, 2009, before their immediate family members in the chapel of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Wausau, Wis.
The bride is the daughter of Christine Welsh and Larry Welsh of Wausau. The groom is the son of Stan and Sue South of Paola.
The Rev. John Roseth conducted the double-ring ceremony. Joel Freiberg was the pianist. Music selections were “Ave Redemptor” and “Allegro Maestoso.”

Melissa Ruth Matthews, daughter of Kevin Matthews and Rhonda Matthews, both of La Cygne, exchanged wedding vows with Devon Wayne Minckley, son of Wayne and Paula Minckley of Lane, on Dec, 19, 2009, at the La Cygne United Methodist Church. 
The Rev. January Kiefer conducted the double-ring ceremony. Abby Burnett was pianist and music selections were “Wonderful Tonight” and “Love of a Lifetime” by Firehouse.
Candles were lit by Lexie Matthews and Allie Kennedy. They wore ivory princess dresses and satin gloves, and rhinestones in their hair.
Guest book attendant was Annie Brown and gift attendant was Brenda Cress.
Ivory roses, gold bows, evergreen and poinsettias accented the altar and pews for the ivory, gold, red and black-themed candelight ceremony. Evergreens lined the windows and loft area, and a lighted tree stood in the corner of the altar.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a light gold strapless full A-line gown with corset. The bodice featured a fitted dropped waistline embellished with an embroidered, beaded motif comprised of Swarovski crystals, bugle beads, seed beads, glass beads and sequins. The skirt featured royal embellishments detailing the caught-up accents. The skirt back cascaded into a bubble hem chapel train. A fingertip veil of ivory and pearl jewelry completed the ensemble.
She carried a bouquet of red Freedom roses, mini white calla lilies, stems of cream colored stock, plumrose fern greens, Italian ruckus greens, diamond accents and was completed with ivory ribbon.

Kasey Michelle Lewer and Travis Lee Detherage exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 24, 2009, in an outdoor pavilion in Olathe.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Linda Lewer of Louisburg.
Her husband is the son of Randy and Robin Detherage of Louisburg. 
The Rev. Bob Cave conducted the wedding ceremony. The groom sang “Making Memories of Us,” a Keith Urban song.
Blue and silver was the color theme of the wedding and flowers were blue and white daisies.
Bridal attendants were Kaitlyn Lewer, who served as her sister’s maid of honor, and Hayli Detherage.
Best man was Dawson Detherage, and Tyler Detherage was a groomsman. Ushers were Michael Detherage and Charles Lewer. Lori Detherage attended the guest book.
A reception in Louisburg followed the wedding.
After a wedding trip to Staniel Cay, Bahamas, the couple is at home in Louisburg. |

Mary Stephenson and Stephen Robert Pepoon exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 16, 2009, at Evergreen Events in Paola.  The Rev. Leslie King conducted the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Nick Hosack. She wore a strapless, empire waisted Maggie Sottero gown.
Her honor attendant was Katie Casey.
Flowers and bouquets were designed and provided by Cindy Casey, a member of the family. The color scheme was purple and gold. Inspired by the Pixar movie “Up,” a large 250-balloon bouquet was the main centerpiece of the dance floor.
The groom’s best man was Arlen Wilcox.

Malarie White of Aurora, Colo., and Zach Ostmeyer of Stilwell exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 19, 2009, at Stockton Lake in Stockton, Mo. 
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Kennett White of Bucyrus. Her husband is the son of Roger and Christy Ostmeyer of Cleveland, Mo.
The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. David Collum.
The color theme of the wedding was truffle brown and rose petal pink.
Music was provided by Mary Ostmeyer on piano, Ryan White on guitar and Aimee Noel as the soloist. “When You Say Nothing at All” was a featured song.
