Black
A daughter, Annabella Maryana Black, was born Jan. 25, 2010, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, to Adam and Meagan Black of Paola. She weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces.
Grandparents are Carl and Terry DeGrande and Jim and Julie Black, all of Paola.
Dora Lee Wilson of Paola and Marjorie Black of Prescott, Kan., are the great-grandmothers.
Heier
A son was born to Bridget and AJ Heier on March 12, 2010, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He has been named Caleb Lucas Heier, and he weighed 8 pounds.
He has a brother, Joel, 2.
Grandparents are Rita and Lyle Wobker of Paola and Lee Ann and Dave Heier of Olsburg, Kan.
Annetta and Tony Butel of Paola and Doris and Paul Summers of Ottawa are the great-grandparents.
Leigh
Serenity Mae Leigh is the name given to the daughter born to Nicole Jacobs and Corey Leigh, both of Paola, on Feb. 16, 2010, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 11.6 ounces.
The baby has a brother, Elijah Jacobs, 8, and two sisters, Liberty and Trinity Jacobs, both 6.
Grandparents are Bonnie Archer and Harold Archer, both of Paola; John and Laura Dehr of Inman, Kan.; and Jo Anne and James Leigh of Troutdale, Ore.
Donald Lawerence and Maxine Baker, both of Portland, Ore., are the great-grandparents.
Norton
Robert and Chrissy Norton of Paola became the parents of a daughter, Feb. 15, 2010, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. The baby was named Mia Christine Norton, and she weighed 7 pounds, 6.8 ounces.
She has two brothers, Chase Norton, 8, and Will Norton, 20 months.
Grandparents are Chuck and Cheri Dunlop of Parker, Mark and Charla Eastwood of Paola, and Rita and Aaron Hughes of Paola.
Great-grandparents are Wilbur and Marilyn Eastwood of Centerville, Jean Allen of La Cygne, Irene Williams of Paola, and Raymond and Jessie Dunlop of Parker.

Marler
Stephanie and Brett Marler of Paola are the parents of a baby boy, Logan Gene, born on Jan. 23, 2010, at Olathe Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces.
Grandparents are Dorman and Linda Marler of Osawatomie, and Debbi Winterscheid and Randy and Nora McCrackin, all of Paola.

A son was born to Laura and David Schlesener of Osawatomie on Feb. 10, 2010, at Olathe Medical Center. He has been given the name Levi Garrett Schlesener, and he weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
