Shane and Debby Stout of rural Lane announce the engagement of their daughter Kaylee Nicole Stout to Trevor James Hurt of rural La Cygne.

The bride-elect is a 2006 Osawatomie High School graduate. She will graduate from Kansas State University in Manhattan in May with a bachelor of science degree in animal science. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Jane Stout of rural Lane and Ken and Marilyn New of Paola; and the great-granddaughter of Maxine Burrows of Osawatomie.

Her fiance is the son of James and Ruth Hurt of rural La Cygne. He graduated from Prairie View High School in 2005 and from Kansas State University in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in ag-business and a minor in business. He works for Bartlett Grain in Wichita as their merchandising manager. He is the grandson of Billy Hurt of rural La Cygne.

The couple will be married May 22 at the Flying D Ranch in rural Lane.
