The Louisburg and Spring Hill girls' basketball teams certainly showed their flair for the dramatics on Friday in Louisburg — and it was a dramatic ending. Louisburg senior Katelynn O'Hara converted a three-point play with two seconds remaining in overtime to give the Wildcats a 64-62 victory.

Both teams put a shooting clinic from behind the 3-point arch, but the Wildcats overcame a nine-point deficit in the third quarter to send the game into overtime and eventually win it.

Overtime was a common theme on Friday in Louisburg, and the boys' game between Louisburg and Spring Hill followed suit.

Down 11 points early in the fourth quarter, Louisburg made a big rally to eventually send the game into overtime thanks to two free throws from Kody Cook. But in the overtime, it was all Spring Hill and the Broncos pulled out a 77-71 victory.

Big shots from Colton Ghumm, Mitch Watson and Jordan Miller sealed the extra period win for Spring Hill.
