| 50th anniversary celebration set for Kurtenbachs |

 The 50th wedding anniversary of Denis and Colleen Kurtenbach will be celebrated with a Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by a brunch for invited guests at Evergreen Events on Dec. 28, 2008. Denis Kurtenbach and Colleen Schmitt were married Dec. 30, 1958, at Holy Three Kings Catholic Church in Epiphany, S.D. They were married at a nuptial high Mass by the uncle of the bride, Monsignor William L. Schmitt. The couple then made their home in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Kurtenbachs are the retired former owners of the Pemco Inc. group of companies. Hosts of the celebration are the couple’s children, Jody Kurtenbach of Denver; Douglas and Kathy Kur-tenbach of Chicago; Kristen Kurtenbach of Washington, D.C.; and Jill (Kurtenbach) and Ron Boos of Olathe. A daughter, Nicole Lyn Kurtenbach, is deceased.
